So a few things have been going on lately.

1. My wife and I had a baby of the boy flavor last Thursday. His name is Jackson. You can see him here.

2. I haven't heard from anyone on places we should try to play. Anyone out there?

3. We've got some new equipment to record drums with. Bart and Ray made a mess here in the System Kid Lab to mic all the drums and begin recording for our next EP. It sounds good so far. Take my word for it. Recording drums is a science (meaning its a bitch) all unto itself, but Bart and Ray are willing to try it. Wish them luck.

Thank Apple for the Macintosh G5. We can finally record 8 drum tracks at once while listening to 6 other instrument and vocal tracks at the same time. It rewlz.

press kits

so we came up with a cool envelope design, cover letter and band photo to put in the press kit. they are worth their weight in gold. we've sent out more than a baker's dozen this past week and it takes quite a bit of time to assemble them. they are assembled with love though - i must stress that point.
