What was the first concert you attended?
Some crazy Christian concert some friends took me to. I think it was Al Denson or something like that. Anyways, I was really young, and they played one of their music videos about a guy getting electrocuted. It scared the crap out of me!
What was the best concert you have ever experienced?
Other than n*sync? Oh, I don't know, probably when I went to see Switchfoot at Harvest.

Theme song from Shaft. "Shut yo' mouth!"

How has it left its mark on you?
I stepped in a lot of cow paddies. Yeah, I still haven't gotten my shoes back to their original shine.
What was your first instrument? Which instruments do you play?
My first instrument was an old Sunlite snare drum and a hi-hat. That's all I had until I reached high school. Other than that I also sing backup and play the kazoo.
When and how did you become interested in music? How long have you been playing?
I've always been interested in music. When I was a kid I would line up my mother's Tupperware and start playing them with wooden spoons. With 6 years of experience under my belt, it's nice to see that I've upgraded since then.
What else do you do?
Not much. I design stuff on the computer, play video games, flirt with girls, plot world domination. You know, the usual.
What person (people) in your life has most influenced your music?
My parents, who bought me my first drums. My first band mates, people I play with at Flipside, the guys I play with now, and definitely Carter Beauford of Dave Matthews Band. I've really learned a lot from watching him play.
What is the most dangerous thing you've ever done?
Went over Niagra Falls in a barrel... naked.
